EXO′s Chan Yeol thanked his actor sunbae and fellow EXO member, D.O.
On March 12, Chan Yeol attended the production briefing session for Salute D′Amour, held at the CGV theaters in Apgujeong.
Chan Yeol stated, "I share rooms with D.O, and we spend a lot of time talking."
In this movie, Chan Yeol appears as a high school student, Min Sung, who has innocent charms. He is an adorable teenager, who becomes the dating coach for Sung Chil and Geum Nim. Fellow EXO member, D.O, debuted on the big screen in 2014 through Cart.
"When I first received the scenario, I worried a a lot about how to do this to make it good, but Kyung Soo (D.O) came to me and said, ′I think if you do as you normally are, you′ll receive a lot of love," said Chan Yeol. "He also read the scripts with me. Thanks D.O."
Salute D′Amour is a love story about 70-year-old Sung Chil (Park Geun Hyung), who′s a novice at love, and his beautiful next door neighbor, Geum Nim (Yoon Yeo Jeong). The movie is directed by Kang Jae Gyu, who led Shiri and TaeGukGi: Brotherhood Of War. Cho Jin Woong, Han Ji Min, Hwang Woo Seul Hye, Chan Yeol, Mun Ka Young are also part of the cast.
