[160318] EXO’s Kai to Participate in Concerts Despite Ankle Injury

EXO‘s Kai has injured his ankle, but he will still be participating in EXO’s upcoming concerts as originally planned.

An affiliate of SM Entertainment stated on March 17, “Kai will be participating in the encore concerts by lessening the choreography as much as possible. He won’t be able to do aggressive choreography like normal.”

In previous news, it was revealed that Kai had injured his left ankle ligament while practicing one day before EXO’s encore concert in Seoul.

The affiliate continued, “He will receive treatment and have time to rest after the concert is finished.”

Kai left a personal message on EXO’s official homepage, saying, “I feel very sad and dejected because of this accident. I’m so sorry towards fans. I will get better soon and work hard to do well for the rest of the year.”

Meanwhile, EXO will be having their “EXO PLANET #2 The EXO’luXion” concert in Seoul Olympic Park on March 18 through 20.

[151103] EXO’s Chanyeol Pleads His Obsessive Fans for Self-Control

EXO’s Chanyeol makes a plea for self-control to his obsessive (sasaeng) fans in China.

On November 3, Chanyeol posted on his Weibo, “The reason I’m writing this is because I experienced something very dangerous in Shanghai.” He said he decided to post his thoughts after deep and careful consideration.

He goes on to comment, “On my way out of the airport, there were about 20 cars that persistently followed me in Shanghai. These cars blocked the road and made several dangerous lane changes blocking our van. We almost got into several accidents.”

He adds, “There were so many stopped cars along our paths and the [sasaeng fans] kept coming into our lane. Causing such danger is wrong. I hope that the fans can cheer us on without interfering with other people and guaranteeing your own safety.”

EXO is a very popular group in both Korea and China and they have been known to struggle with sasaeng fans in the past. To prevent further danger, Chanyeol took it upon himself to send out a message of warning to the sasaeng fans asking them to handle themselves with maturity.

[151027] EXO's Baekhyun demonstrates his black belt hapkido kicks

EXO's Baekhyun showed off his sizzling hapkido skills on the October 27 airing of 'Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education'! 

Baekhyun introduced himself as, "This is Baekhyun, who loves martial arts. I've got a black belt in hapkido. I've even taught elementary school kids." 

During the show, Baekhyun demonstrated a low roundhouse kick, impressing everyone on set. Then Kang Ho Dong asked for something that was a bit more challenging, requesting for the idol to transition straight into one of EXO's dance moves from a roundhouse kick. Baekhyun obliged, though a bit hesitant.

[151014] EXO’s Baekhyun to Reportedly Guest Star on “Our Neighborhood Sports”

It looks like EXO‘s Baekhyun will get to show off his martial arts skills through a guest appearance on KBS2TV’s “Our Neighborhood Sports”!

According to industry insiders, the idol is currently taking part in a filming for “Our Neighborhood Sports.” As Baekhyun is known to be passionate about hapkido, many are looking forward to seeing if his martial sports background will help him adjust to the judo tatami.

The currently airing “Our Neighborhood Sports” follows the cast members as they compete in judo. With former judo champion Lee Won Hee and Cho Joon Ho as their coaches, the cast includes Kang Ho Dong, Jung Hyung Don, Lee Jae Yoon, CNBLUE’s Lee Jong Hyun, Go Se Won, and Lee Hoon.

Meanwhile, singer Sung Si Kyung made a special appearance in the October 13 episode to fill in for Jung Hyung Don, who recently took a short break from filming due to health reasons.
