EXO was announced to have topped charts in two different countries on the same day today. Following the Oricon news where EXO made history in Japan's music industry, Billboard has also announced that EXO has come on top yet again in the U.S. as well.
Billboard reports that EXO has the number one K-pop album sales in the United States for the second year in a row, and their album 'Exodus' was 2015's biggest K-pop album in the U.S.! This is a tremendous deal, so a huge congrats to EXO and EXO-Ls!
EXO released three different albums this year, including their second album 'Exodus', their repackage album 'Love Me Right', as well as their new winter album 'Sing For You'. All three of these albums have been huge hits, letting EXO nab the number one spot on Billboard.
But there's more! EXO is also the only K-pop artist to chart on two of Billboard's year-end charts. They are number 7 on the 'Year-end World Albums Artists' chart, the same spot they were in 2014 too.
EXO is also number 8 on the 'Year-end World Albums' chart for the album 'Exodus'. This is EXO's first time on this chart, and number 8 is the highest ranking for a K-pop artist thus far.
