[180923] EXO’s “Call Me Baby” Becomes Their 2nd MV To Reach 200 Million Views

Another one of EXO’s classic hits has reached a new milestone!

Before the clock hit midnight, at approximately 11:15 p.m. KST on September, “Call Me Baby” surpassed 200 million views on YouTube! It hit this milestone a little under three years, five months, and 25 days since the music video was first unveiled on March 30, 2015.

This is EXO’s second music video to hit 200 million views on YouTube, following their 2016 title track “Monster.”

“Call Me Baby” is the title track of EXO’s second studio album “EXODUS,” which was released on March 27. The album set new records both domestically and internationally at the time, and would earn EXO their second “million-seller” title. “Call Me Baby” itself was a huge success, garnering the group an impressive total of 18 music show wins, and being the most-watched K-pop MV in the first half of 2015.

The group’s social media account also posted about the achievement in celebration!

EXO's official "Ko Ko Bop" music video has reached 100 million views on YouTube!

The MV was released back in July and it has surpassed the 100 million views milestone.  The hit song over the summer from the idol group's 4th album 'The War' is still going strong due to its catchy tune and vibrant imagery.

This is their sixth MV to reach 100 million views after "Wolf", "Growl", "Overdose", "Call Me Baby", and "Monster". This is also the fastest MV for EXO to reach 100 million views.

[171007] EXO’s Lay Declares He Is China’s “Sheep” With New Solo MV

EXO’s Lay has finally made a solo comeback!

At 10:07 a.m. CST on his birthday October 7, Lay dropped his second solo album “LAY 02 SHEEP” online along with the music video for his title track, “Sheep.” Just like with his first solo album, the singer wrote lyrics in addition to composing, producing and arranging the entire album.

His second solo album includes 10 tracks in total, with special songs like his anniversary present for his grandparents, “I NEED U,” and what appears to be a song dedicated to his fans, “X BACK.”

Lay will be holding a showcase in China on October 12, and the album will be physically released on October 18.

[170718] EXO Reveals Final Group Teasers Hours Before Comeback With “The War”

With less than 10 hours to go, EXO has unveiled a series of group teaser images before their album “The War” and music video for title track “KoKoBop” drops!

There’s not much longer until EXO finally makes their long-awaited comeback, and in the midst of the anticipation, they’ve revealed yet another teaser!

On July 18 at midnight KST, short clips from the music videos of EXO’s upcoming title track “KoKoBop” in both Korean and Chinese were released through SM Entertainment’s official YouTube channel.

Described as a reggae pop track, “KoKoBop” features lyrics written by members Chanyeol, Chen, and Baekhyun that talk about how they dance freely without inhibitions the night before a fateful, unavoidable war.

The full music video will be released online later today at 6 p.m. KST along with the rest of the album, and EXO will be holding a special broadcast on V Live in honor of their comeback at 8 p.m. KST. They also have a series of broadcasts lined up for July 19 as well, with two radio appearances scheduled as well as 

another V Live broadcast featuring members Chanyeol, D.O., Baekhyun, and Sehun. The group’s first official performance of “KoKoBop” will be on the July 20 broadcast of “M!Countdown.”

[170707] EXO’s Xiumin And NCT’s Mark Reveal How They Felt While Recording Duet “Young & Free

EXO’s Xiumin and NCT’s Mark dropped their collaboration track “Young & Free” on July 7, and on the same day, SM Entertainment released another adorable interview featuring the two singers!

They began by answering a question that asked if there were any fun stories about something that may have happened during recording.

Mark revealed, “There was a time where we met at the recording studio. At that time, I was so embarrassed. I was so nervous while recording, I remember that I ended up drinking two bottles of water.”

In response, Xiumin couldn’t stop doting on his junior with compliments saying, “It was the first time that I saw him record, and I thought, ‘He’s not a little kid anymore.’ After seeing him sing and rap so charismatically, I instead told him, ‘Don’t be nervous in front of me. I’m more nervous than you.’ [I said this] because he’s so good at rapping…the best rapper.”

The adorable duo then named items they believed fit each other’s image well, with Xiumin choosing a golden microphone for Mark, and the NCT member choosing black sunglasses for his senior. They also shared where they would like to go on vacation together. Xiumin chose somewhere by the seaside, while Mark chose Vancouver, Canada.

Meanwhile, Xiumin and Mark will be performing their duet for the first time at the SMTOWN concert on July 8.

EXO′s Suho has released the second music video for Starlight the OST to his drama Star of the Universe.

On February 16, the second music video for Starlight, the OST To MBC drama Star of the Universe and was first released on February 10, was shared through a variety of music platforms.

The newly released music video contrasts from the sad theme of the first music video as it shows the love and happiness that the two main characters share. Scenes shown through the new music video include hugging, kisses on the forehead and wedding scenes. 

Starlight was written, composed and arranged by music veteran Jung Ji Chan and was performed by Suho and Remi. Jung Ji Chan, who has hit the 20th year since his debut, is preparing a variety of projects for 2017 including new music and concerts.

Meanwhile, Suho also recently released new track Curtain with pianist Song Young Ju. The track marked the final track to the first season of SM Entertainment′s STATION.

This is a collaboration that’s sure to take 2017 by storm!

On February 14 at midnight KST, “Rain,” sung by EXO’s Baekhyun and SISTAR’s Soyou, was finally released through Starship Entertainment’s sub-label, Starship X.

This long-awaited release was produced by singer-songwriter team Phat Music, who has worked with groups like GFRIEND, and talks about the nostalgia one feels about a past love while gazing at falling rain. The track puts Soyou’s sweet yet husky voice and Baekhyun’s complementing clear and sonorous vocals at the forefront with its simpler instrumentation, and also showcases their heavenly-sounding harmonies during its climax.

Soyou is known for her stellar, all-kill achieving collaborations, while Baekhyun has also been making a name for himself, as his duet track “Dream” with Suzy swept up numerous awards in 2016.
