[150501] SHINee's Minho makes a sincere apology to EXO's Suho on air

On a new episode of KBS 2TV's 'Bounce Indo' on May 1, SHINee's Minho relayed sincere apologies to label mate EXO's Suho.

Before they fell asleep, Minho said to roommate Suho, "Do you know?  That I'm sorry toward you, hyung."

In an interview, he acknowledged a wrongdoing, saying, "During this vacation, I want to return to when Suho and I were younger, so I am looking forward to it.  We fought a couple times.  Even when I think of those times, I called Suho hyung despite being born in '91 [like me] because he entered school a year earlier.  However, seeing as how I debuted [first], I thought it would get more complicated, so I texted hyung, 'Let's be friends.'  I told him this way it wouldn't get complicated even after debut.  I think the person who received it was upset.  I thought it was simple, but I messed with a not-so-simple pride."

Minho brought this back up with Suho in their room, saying, "I was really close to you, hyung, wasn't I? But you know we got a bit distant from each other, right, hyung?  It was something I said because I really wanted to be of help to you, but after I said something, we got distant from each other, which I really hated.  A lot of things happened after debut, but I was unable to forget that and I had not realized that when I told you that, you had not debuted. Honestly, I was unable to understand your feelings when you had not debuted," showing how bad he felt for not having considered the fact that when he sent the text, Suho had not debuted, so it could have come off hurtful.

[150430] EXO’s Suho and SHINee’s Minho Shows Their Affection for Each Other on “Fluttering India”

KBS2 “Fluttering India” not only became a medium to showcase the beautiful country of India, but it also became a way for EXO‘s Suho and SHINee‘s Minho to renew their friendship.

Minho have earlier shown his interest to be Suho’s roommate in an interview done for the said show which they did. The two have quite a history together when they became trainees together in the same period and even studied abroad to China together. However, time passed by and their relationship slowly started to drift apart, especially since Minho had the chance to debut as an idol singer first and he had less time to spare.

In the last episode of “Fluttering India” however, Minho tried to make efforts to bring back the once lost relationship. He apologized to Suho and even gave him a backhug and they ended up sleeping in that position.

Catch this heartwarming renewal of friendship on the fourth and last episode of “Fluttering India” tomorrow at KBS2.

During the press conference of “Fluttering India” held on April 9, Suho opened up saying, “My seniors were considerate of me and I was able to have fun during filming.”

The members of this program include EXO’s Suho, Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun, SHINee‘s Minho, CNBLUE‘s Jonghyun, and INFINITE‘s Sunggyu. While Suho is technically not the youngest in age (Minho of SHINee is), since EXO debuted the latest, he takes on the “youngest” position of the group.

[150410] EXO's Su Ho Discovered that His Awkwardness was Charming While in India

During the live talk, Changmin brought up that he said on camera that Su Ho was awkward, worrying about the wrath of EXO fans.

Su Ho said, "I tend to do things with a lot of concentration and sincerity. I know I'm lacking and kind of awkward, and so do the fans." He added that he realized in India that his awkwardness was part of his charms.

Minho chirped up saying, "I've told him since junior high school that I think he's an awkward person. I'm glad he's realizing now after 10 years."

Minho continued to say that the biggest thing Su Ho is taking with him from India is that he learned that his awkwardness is charming. "I anticipate seeing how he'll use it."

[150409] Suho admits he's more comfortable with the 'Bounce Indo' team than EXO

During the press conference for new KBS 2TV variety program, 'Bounce Indo' (previously known as 'Exciting India'), on April 9, EXO's Suho relayed a surprising comment by saying he felt more comfortable with the cast members of the show than with his group mates! However, when you hear his reason, you might find it quite understandable.

He said, "As I'm the leader of EXO, I always put strength into my gaze, but as I became a maknae when I went to India, I received love, which I really liked.  Honestly, I'm more comfortable with this team than EXO."

Kyuhyun said, "In the past, there was a time I shared a waiting room with EXO, and I saw Suho looking very serious.  It was the exact expression of an idol group leader.  At that moment, I found Suho's image awkward, but I saw Suho's happiest expression in India."

Aw, everybody wants love as a maknae once in a while!  It must be hard to be the leader of so many guys.  Meanwhile, you can see how much affections he actually gets when the show airs on April 10!

[150206] “Kyu-Line” Sends Greetings from India as News Reporters

The cast of KBS2TV’s variety show “Fluttering India,” Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, SHINee’s Minho, INFINITE’s Sunggyu, CNBLUE’s Jonghyun, and EXO’s Suho appeared on KBS’s “Morning News Time.”

On February 6, Kyuhyun, Minho, Sunggyu, Jonghyun and Suho appeared on “Morning News Time” to report on a news item dealing with K-Pop’s popularity in India. TVXQ‘s Changmin did not appear on the news despite reportedly being a cast member of the variety show.

On this day, a reporter began the news item at India’s Gateway of Mumbai with the five idols wearing traditional Indian clothing. They went on to ask passing locals, “Do you know Korea? Do you know K-Pop?” but it seemed that most were oblivious. Minho reported that K-Pop or K-Pop stars are not well known in India, saying, “The situation is the same even when we go to a place that is bustling with crowds. Wherever they go, people gather around them, but it seems to be a characteristic of the people who are interested in foreigners and like taking photos [with them].”

In reality, some of the locals asked, “Are you Chinese?” putting some substance to the claim.

Following that, Kyuhyun visited Yash Raj Films, a famous film maker, and asked about how K-Pop could expand into India. The Yash Raj Films associate suggested that they could incorporate traditional Indian dances into K-Pop dance routines.

[150204] “Fluttering India” Explains Why Fans Were Told to Limit Contact with Idols at Airport

KBS 2TV‘s new variety show “Fluttering India” explained the friction that they had with Indian fans at the airport while they were filming.

The program is responding to claims made on SNS by Indian fans who came to the airport to see the idols. They accounted that “Fluttering India” staff told them to pretend that they did not know the celebrities, and that the staff also checked their phones to make sure that their cameras were turned off.

On February 4, a “Fluttering India” representative said to news outlet OSEN that “According to the Embassy of India’s count, there are around 300 K-Pop fans in all of India. About 15 fans came out to the airport.”

They relayed, “India is a very difficult place to get a filming permit in. It was difficult to get permission to film at the airport on its own, but the condition that they were given was, ‘do not make a scene.’ In fact, as soon as they got to the airport, the police stuck right by them.”

The representative said, “The airport told them not to make a scene, and if there was one, the condition was that we would not be able to film right away. It was not possible to have shouting or a warm welcome. Because the police were with them, the producers asked [the fans] not to take pictures. They never went through the fans’ personal items.”

They added, “After the airport shoot, the idols had time to interact naturally with the fans, and even signed autographs.”

Meanwhile, “Fluttering India” is a travel variety show made by Producer Lee Ye Ji that follows the travels of “Kyu-line” in India. It stars TVXQ’s Changmin, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, SHINee’s Minho, Infinite’s Sunggyu, CNBLUE’s Jonghyun, and EXO’s Suho.

Update:

Below is one of the accounts that claims how fans were told to act like they did not know the idols, and that the staff members even tried to inspect the fans’ cameras in case they took photos at the airport. According to the account, the show’s PD threatened to cancel the show if the fans did not listen to their orders, which has caused a stir among fans.
