EXO's Baekhyun revealed which of his 'Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo' co-stars helped him out the most on set. 

EXO-CBX were guests on the November 15th broadcast of SBS Radio PowerFM's 'Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time', and DJ Choi Hwa Jung asked Baekhyun about the popular historical drama series. He said of the set environment, "It was really good. There was a lot of laughter on set. Everyone was my sunbae there. The hyungs took care of me the most. Lee Jun Ki hyung took care of me a lot. Kang Ha Neul hyung, Hong Jong Hyun hyung, and Ji Soo."

On his acting, he said, "I didn't learn from a teacher, but I thought a lot about it and went with it. I listened to the director's advice a lot as well." Xiumin added, "Baekhyun has a lot of talent, so he's good at everything."

[161103] Baekhyun shares behind-the-scene story of his death scene from 'Scarlet Heart: Ryeo'

EXO's Baekhyun talked about what happened while he was filming his death scene in 'Scarlet Heart: Ryeo' which aired its last episode recently. 

During SBS PowerFM 'Cultwo Show' that aired on November 2, EXO-CBX made  their appearance as special guests. During the show, Cultwo asked Baekhyun about his last scene in the drama, which gained a lot of attention. 

Baekhyun explained, "Not while I was dying, but after I died, when I was lying down, I fell asleep. I had pulled an all-nighter the night before, so even thought it was dirt ground, I could fall asleep...I guess because it was my last scene, I became relaxed. If you watch carefully, I am really not moving at all." 

The DJs responded by joking, "Your acting was better because you were sleeping."

Ji Soo shared what EXO's leader Suho said about fellow member Baekhyun before the filming of drama 'Scarlet Heart: Ryeo'.

Ji Soo has relation to both EXO members as he worked with Suho for the movie, 'Glory Day', while he recently worked with Baekhyun in the SBS drama. When asked in an interview with MBN if Suho said anything about Baekhyun before Ji Soo started working with the idol, Ji Soo said, "Suho just told me good things. He said I'll be able to get closer to him easily since we are similar in age and that Baekhyun is a nice, cute friend who I should get close to because he's a very good person."

[161021] Z.Hera Talks Baekhyun’s Playful Personality On Set Of “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo”

In a recent interview, “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo” actress Z.Hera dishes on working with EXO’s Baekhyun on the drama.

When asked about the viewer love that she and Baekhyun’s characters have been receiving, Z.Hera replies, “A lot more people than I thought have been looking kindly on Soon Duk and the 10th Prince and thinking they are cute. I was also extremely surprised by and grateful for this response, which I could have never expected.”

Z.Hera also dishes on what Baekhyun is like on set, saying, “Thanks to Baekhyun, I was able [to film] comfortably. He is extremely playful, so we were able to have fun even while filming. It’s a big relief that our chemistry came through on screen,” she continues.

“Baekhyun’s foreign fans found my SNS and left comments, so I was able to get a sense of the popularity of ‘Scarlet Heart: Goryeo’ abroad,” Z.Hera continues. “We are also sunbae-hoobaes [in the music industry], and [our filming period] overlapped with his preparations to promote ‘Monster,’ so I got to learn the dance too. Although he is the vocalist, isn’t he good at dancing too? I asked him to teach me [the dance] while on set.”

EXO’s Baekhyun recently got the chance to talk about his character’s exit on the Monday-Tuesday drama “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo.”

Baekyun and Z.Hera have lately been receiving much attention for their cute chemistry on the set. And after the events of the latest episode, Baekhyun shared his thoughts on his experience. “I experienced a lot of things while filming the drama and I also learned a lot from the senior actors, so it was a very happy time for me. I want to thank all the viewers for their interest,” Baekhyun said.

“I hope people continue to support ‘Scarlet Heart: Goryeo.’ I’d like to thank all the viewers who gave Eun much love. Thank you and I love you all,” he added. The EXO member also posted on his social media account with the hashtag “Goodbye Wang Eun” after the broadcast.

[160825] EXO’s Baekhyun’s acting confidence on “Scarlet Heart: Ryeo” bolstered due to D.O’s words

EXO’s Baekhyun shared an interesting story about how fellow member D.O eased his concerns before film for the Scarlet Heart: Ryeo drama.

At the drama press conference, Baekhyun shared with staff and the press about his first acting experience and he mentions one of his fellow EXO member, D.O who has the most acting experience in their group.  He disclosed, “I asked D.O. what kind of person Director Kim Kyu Tae was before the drama started filming.” D.O. starred in the director’s 2014 drama It’s Okay, That’s Love and worked with him through the entire drama series.

Baekhyun goes into further detail, “There are a lot of scary people among directors, and I don’t like scary people. When I asked D.O. about Director Kim Kyu Tae, he said he was a good person. That’s why I was able to have fun and film comfortably. When I came to the set, it was such a comfortable atmosphere. I was inexperienced, but I think I can say that I came off as less inexperienced because of the director.”

Due to D.O.’s honest opinion of the director, Baekhyun was motivated and encouraged to act out his drama character naturally.

In the drama, Baekhyun plays a role in the Scarlet Heart: Ryeo drama as Prince Wang Hyun, a friendly and playful prince tenth in line to the throne.

The first episode of Scarlet Heart: Ryeo is scheduled to air on SBS on August 29, 2016 at 10pm KST.

SBS's upcoming drama 'Scarlet Heart: Ryeo' held a press conference on August 24 at Seoul's Imperial Palace Hotel, during which Baekhyun opened up about his first acting experience. 

The idol wasn't afraid to admit that he was riddled with anxiety, saying, "This was my first time acting. I was so nervous. I couldn't help but think how amazing all the actors are during the filming process." 

Baekhyun added, "It was inspiring how they invested so much time just to create one project. Looking at how passionate everyone was on set, it gave me the chance to reflect on myself. I looked at the script countless times to prepare for this drama. I thought a lot about my character, and because [my character's] persona is bright and cheerful just like my actual self, I just acted like how Baekhyun would act in real life."

EXO-Ls are in for another treat as three of EXO‘s vocalists, Baekhyun, Chen and Xiumin lend their soothing voices for the upcoming SBS drama, Scarlet Heart: Ryeo.

In addition to the song, Baekhyun also plays a role in the drama as Prince Wang Hyun, a friendly and playful prince tenth in line to the throne. The drama is based on a Chinese novel, Bu Bu Jing Xin, by Tong Hua, a time traveling drama that sends the female heroine, Go Ha Jin (played by IU) back into the Goryeo Era. Her life changes when she meets the ten princes in a kingdom where the battle of politics and romance is heavily tested.

A music video for the Part 1 OST, “For You” was released, which shows highlight scenes from the drama and introduces the main characters to the viewers. The interactions between each prince and the female lead arouses curiosity as to which love-line might be focused on in the drama.

At 9am KST, “For You” topped Korean music chart Soribada at #1, while hitting the number two spot on Mnet, Olleh Music, Genie Music, Naver, and Bugs. The song ranks fourth on Melon. The song faces strong competition from Ailee‘s “If You”, but the results are applaudable since it is an OST track.

The first episode of Moon Lovers is scheduled to air on SBS on August 29, 2016 at 10pm KST.

On August 25, the ending theme for the soundtrack of “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo” was released, along with an accompanying music video.

Sung by EXO’s Chen, Xiumin, and Baekhyun, the drama’s very own 10th prince,”For You” boasts lyrics that describe the love and dedication that not just Lee Joon Gi, but almost all the princes have for IU‘s character, Hae Soo. The song itself has a pleasing melody that supports the strong vocals of Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin.

This EXO trio is only the beginning of the amazing line-up of singers who will be singing for this drama’s soundtrack. Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon will be singing the main theme, while Epik High, Lee Hi, and Davichi are also reportedly taking part in the OST.

Yay, rejoice because the OST for 'Scarlet Heart: Ryeo' sung by EXO's Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin is out!

The song is a beautiful, melodic track - almost reminiscent of an older Japanese track by BoA or perhaps an ending song for 'Inuyasha.'  It's very nice and easy on the ears, especially with their rhythmic, "dda dda ras" - you can expect a killer OST for the whole drama from this track already!
