[151213] EXO’s Baekhyun shamelessly frames Suho at rehearsal for “2015 MAMA”

Netizens are cracking up at the hilarious interaction between EXO member Suho and Baekhyun as the latter plays a trick on his friend and peer during a rehearsal for the 2015 MAMA.

On December 12th, Mnet‘s special behind-the-scene YouTube channel “MPD (Mnet’s Producer Director)” revealed the behind-story of EXO at the festivities. The video follows EXO onstage as they practice their stage performances for tracks such as “Lightsaber” with SM Entertainment performance director Shim Jae Won.

One particular part has gained attention after member Baekhyun drops his own microphone but coolly blames Suho, saying into the mic, “Sorry, it’s Suho,” after picking it up, causing Xiumin and Suho who are sitting next to him to laugh at the preposterous but funny blame.

A recent picture compilation by netizens shared onto the popular website Instiz shows the world which group rules the visuals of K-pop.

All eyes were on EXO at the 2015 MAMA as they rocked natural but chic looks everywhere at the event whether during their red carpet entrance, below the stage watching great performances, or on stage accepting awards and performing. Although it was reported that Chanyeol had collapsed following one of these stages, the boys still showed off their show-stealing visuals throughout the night.

[151202] [2015 MAMA] Girls’ Generation and EXO Win Best Group Awards

SM artists Girls′ Generation and EXO took home the Best Female Group and Best Male Group awards, respectively, at 2015 MAMA.

Girls′ Generation had a busy year, promoting triple title songs Party, Lion Heart and You Think. 

Taetiseo members Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun accepted the Best Female Group award on behalf of the group, and Seohyun said, “I want to say that I’m most thankful to the SNSD members for promoting with one heart from Party to Lion Heart and You Think."

Tiffany added, “At last year’s MAMA, I stood here and promised to show good sides and good music, and I’m happy that I was able to keep my promise.”

EXO then hopped on stage to accept the Best Male Group award, where Su Ho said, "This is our third award at MAMA. Thank you MAMA," before adding "It’s more meaningful because our Girls′ Generation sunbaenims just won the award too."

Baek Hyun said, "Thank you to EXO-L’s all around the world, and we will come back next year with even better sides.”

The fans have spoken and this year′s Global Fans Choice Awards at 2015 MAMA have gone to f(x) and EXO.

The Global Fans Choice category is based on fan votes on social media.

Upon receiving the Global Fans Choice Female Award, f(x)′s Amber said in Korean, “If we didn’t have our fans, we wouldn’t have been able to receive this award,” before adding in English, “We all want to thank the fans who continually support us and never give up on us.” 

EXO then took to the stage to accept the Global Fans Choice Male Award, where Su Ho thanked the SM staff and artists before saying, “This is our second award at MAMA, so thank you MAMA."

He then said, “This award is made by the EXO-L’s all over the world, so this is for you.”

[151202] [2015 MAMA] EXO Wins Best Asian Style for Second Year in a Row

EXO′s night is off to a great start at the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), where the group picked up the Best Asian Style Award for the second year in a row.

The group was awarded the special prize on the red carpet ahead of the main event at 2015 MAMA.

EXO′s Su Ho said, "We got this award last year, and we weren′t expecting to win this year," before adding "We will continue to show good styling and music. Thank you."

2015 MAMA has returned to the AsiaWorld-Expo Arena in Hong Kong for the fourth time this year to host the biggest Asian music event of the year.

There are going to be a lot of awesome special stages at the '2015 MAMA'! On November 30, Mnet's 'M! Countdown' Facebook page announced which special stage EXO will be holding for their dear fans.

The boys will be unveiling the Korean version of their Japanese track "Drop That" for the first time ever during the award ceremony!  They will be performing this version for their Korean fans to enjoy.  The song had been included in their second studio Japanese album and grabbed a lot of attention during their dome concerts in Japan.

Fans grew very excited at the news, exclaiming, "What do I do!!!!  I don't know - my heart is already not in its normal state," "I want to hear it as soon as possible - release it quickly," and more.

[151130] EXO to Reveal Korean Version of Japanese Single at the 2015 MAMA

Boy group EXO will be performing the Korean version of their latest Japanese song “Drop That” at the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards!

The exciting news was revealed on November 30 through the official Facebook account of Mnet’s weekly music show “M!Countdown.”

The announcement says, “2015 MAMA｜Special stage! EXO is showing the Korean ver. of ‘Drop That’ for the very first time at 2015 MAMA! We can’t wait!! 2015.12.02 MAMA, Hong Kong with UnionPay.”

Marking the popular idol group’s Japanese debut release, “Drop That” was released on November 4 along with the Japanese version of “Love Me Right.” Two-track single was a huge commercial success in Japan.

While EXO has performed “Drop That” live at their recent Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Osaka Dome concerts, the upcoming 2015 MAMA performance will mark the exclusive world premiere of the Korean version of the song.

Meanwhile, the 2015 MAMA will be held on December 2 at the Asia World-Expo in Hong Kong.
