[181016] EXO’s Chen Releases Beautiful Ballad “Cherry Blossom Love Song” For “100 Days My Prince”
EXO’s Chen has lent his voice to the drama “100 Days My Prince”!
On October 16, Chen’s ballad titled “Cherry Blossom Love Song” was released as the third OST for the tvN drama, which stars his fellow EXO member D.O. (Do Kyung Soo), Nam Ji Hyun, Jo Sung Ha, and more.
Viewers got a listen to part of the moving song during the first kiss scene between D.O. and Nam Ji Hyun’s characters in the October 8 episode, and you can now enjoy the whole song below!
The emotional ballad was produced by Park Geun Chul, Jung Soo Min, and Mathi.
Chen has previously also showcased his talents in OSTs for dramas including “It’s Okay, That’s Love,” “Descendants of the Sun,” “Missing 9,” and more.

[180921] EXO Celebrates Chen’s Birthday Together
EXO’s Chen celebrated his birthday with his fellow members, and also wrote a message to fans!
Chen turned 27 years old in Korean reckoning on September 21, and Sehun posted a photo on his Instagram of a meal they had together to celebrate the big day. He used Chen’s real name Kim Jong Dae in the caption as he wrote, “Kim Jjong Ddae, happy birthday.”

Chen also posted a message to fans on the group’s official site. He wrote, “Hello, this is Chen!
“Time goes by so fast, it’s already my 27th birthday!! Today was an even happier day thanks to the congratulations from our EXO-Ls.
“September seems to have come so quickly, but are our EXO-Ls having a good 2018? You’ve been waiting a lot, right? We’re working on the new album so I hope you’ll wait just a bit more. Just a bit!!
“I’m already excited just thinking about showing it to all of you. We’ll be able to meet soon!!!!!!

[180908] EXO’s Chen Is Highly Praised By World-Renowned Pianist And Composer Steve Barakatt
Steve Barakatt had nothing but kind things to say about EXO’s Chen!
The pianist-composer made an appearance on the September 8 episode of KBS2’s “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook.”
Steve Barakatt first performed in Korea in 1995, and has since returned to the country around 100 times. His music is familiar to much of the Korean public, with two of his pieces being used by high speed rail system the Korea Train eXpress (KTX) and another once used as a factory ringtone for cell phones.
Over the last two decades, he notably worked with many Korean artists such as Wheesung, John Park, and Girls’ Generation, to name a few.
When asked which Korean artist was the most memorable, Steve Barakatt chose Chen. He praised Chen for his talent and his passion.
The two musicians collaborated back in 2016, when Chen performed John Lennon’s “Imagine” with Steve Barakatt at his concert in Korea. The performance was a part of UNICEF’s “Imagine Project,” a global campaign drew attention to the challenges that children face and imagined a world where all children are “living life in peace.”
Steve Barakatt also recently shared some nostalgic photos with Chen ahead of his most recent trip to Korea.

8月26日（日）味の素スタジアムにて行われた「a-nation 2018 supported by dTV & dTVチャンネル」東京公演に、EXOが出演しました！
昨年に続き3回目の出演となりましたが、今までで一番気温が高くあっっついステージになりましたね！もちろんEXOのパフォーマンスもあっっっつかったですが、みなさんいかがでしたでしょうか！？”
“On 26 August EXO performed at the Tokyo concert of ’A-Nation 2018 supported by dTV & dTV channel’, which was held at Ajinomoto Stadium!
This is the 3rd year in a row they’ve performed, but this year in particular was extremely hooottt! Naturally, EXO’s performance was hot, too, so what did everyone think!?”
暑い日差しがなくなり、空が紺色になり始めたイベント終盤に登場したEXO。
まずは『The Eve（前夜）』でEXOライブの幕開けです！
ステージにEXOが登場すると、待っていてくれたファンのみなさんの大歓声が会場中に響き、青いa-nationのうちわの中にシルバーのライトがどんどん灯っていきました！！
勢いもそのままに『Ko Ko Bop』、『Coming Over』を披露した後のMCでは、「みなさんに会うとテンションが上がりますね！」と、全員とても嬉しそうな表情^^
続いて『Cosmic Railway』をしっとりとスタジアムに響かせると、そこからはまたアップテンポな曲で会場を思いっきり盛り上げて最後まで駆け抜けたメンバーたち！
途中のMCでチャンヨルのマイクの調整が悪くなってしまい直しに行くというハプニングもありましたが、ベクヒョンは「話す時間が長くなりましたね♪」とまたまた笑顔をみせていました！
「みなさんには感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。僕たちもみなさんの力になれるように頑張ります！」
「韓国で新しいアルバムの準備をしているので、楽しみにしていてくださいね！そして、また日本でもお会いしましょう！」
とそれぞれ日頃応援してくれているファンのみなさんに、感謝を伝えていました^^
ライブ終演後、厳しい暑さに大量の汗を流しながら戻ってきたメンバーたちでしたが、その表情は全員とても充実していましたよ！！
メンバーたちは、MCでもベクヒョンが言っていた通り、「今日初めてEXOを知った方も応援してくれたら嬉しい」と語っていました^^

“As the warm sun set, the sky turned a deep blue, and EXO was introduced at the final act of the evening.
They opened their performance with ‘The Eve（前夜）’!
When EXO came out on stage, the fans who were waiting greeted them with a loud welcome that resonated throughout the venue. Amongst the blue A-Nation light up fans, the silver lightsticks lit up!!
Continuing with that energy, the group performed ‘Ko Ko Bop’ and then ‘Coming Over’. After that, the group smiled and gave a short ment, exclaiming that ‘Meeting everyone is really exciting!’
They moved on to ‘Cosmic Railway’, which echoes softly throughout the stadium.
Once they were finished, the members used all their strength to liven up the venue with an up-beat number. They made their way around the stage all the way to the end!
During one of the ments, Chanyeol’s microphone had an issue and he had to go get it fixed. When the other members realised this, Baekhyun smiled and said, ‘It seems like we get to talk longer♪’!
‘We are so thankful to everyone. We will work hard so that we may become everyone’s strength, just as you are ours!’
‘We’re preparing a new album in Korea so please look forward to it! Also, let’s meet again in Japan!’
They expressed their gratitude towards their fans that are always supporting them.^^
