[160919] EXO Praises Yoo Jae Suk For His Professionalism And Hard Work On “Dancing King”

They don’t call him “God Yoo” for nothing!

After premiering the performance at their concert in Thailand on September 11, EXO sat down to talk about the immense success of “Dancing King,” their collaboration with variety star Yoo Jae Suk. The song topped seven music charts in Korea, including Genie, Naver Music, Olleh Music, Mnet Music, Soribada, Bugs, and Monkey3.

The song is the 32nd track released through SM STATION and is a result of a collaboration between the group and “Infinite Challenge,” which premiered the music video on September 17.

EXO spared no compliments as they talked about their dancing partner, saying, “Yoo Jae Suk is busier than us but he didn’t rest at all day or night and practiced every day, just so that he can show a perfect performance. We were so touched and felt such respect for him.”

They continued, “We want to thank all the people who showed interest and love to our collaboration. We also want to thank ‘Infinite Challenge’ and Yoo Jae Suk who taught us yet another lesson. It was a time of great learning.”

EXO also talked about the song’s great success on the charts, saying, “We were so happy to see the love the ‘Dancing King’ received. It was challenging for us because we were preparing for the concert while also promoting our repackaged album and preparing for ‘Dancing King.’ We really think that this was all due to Yoo Jae Suk sunbaenim.”

EXO also revealed that they plan on donating all of the proceeds of the song to charity.

[160917] “Infinite Challenge” Members Teach EXO How To Dance

On the latest episode of “Infinite Challenge,” which featured EXO, the “Infinite Challenge” members taught the EXO members how to dance variety show style.

First up on the dance floor was Lay, who was too chill for the “Infinite Challenge” cast, so Jung Joon Ha stepped up to teach Lay how to properly dance for comedic effect. Lay quickly picked up Jung Joon Ha’s moves and completely let loose, satisfying his teachers.

Next up was Baekhyun, taught by Kwanghee, D.O., who didn’t need a teacher, Suho, who was ever the “dancing machine,” and finally Chanyeol, who made the entire studio collapse with laughter with his krump dance of epic proportions.

[160917] Park Myung Soo’s Hilarious Made-Up Name For EXO’s Sehun Trends Worldwide On Twitter

Park Myung Soo’s name for EXO member Sehun was so funny and random that it was trending worldwide on Twitter!

On September 17’s episode of “Infinite Challenge,” the cast members meet up with the guys of EXO during EXO’s rehearsals with Yoo Jae Suk for their performance of “Dancing King” at a concert in Bangkok. When they first meet, Yoo Jae Suk laughs at Park Myung Soo for smiling and greeting Chanyeol by saying “Good to see you, Chanyeol!” and yelling Suho’s name happily, but just saying to the rest of the guys “Good to see you!” without their names.

At the end of their recording together, Kwanghee suggests to Park Myung Soo, “Since we’re wrapping up, say each of the members’ names!” Park Myung Soo says that he’ll look them up on the Internet, but Yoo Jae Suk tells him to shake each of their hands and say their names.

Park Myung Soo then goes down the line of the guys, telling each of them that they worked hard today. He of course gets Chanyeol and Suho’s names right, but then cracks everyone up by pausing when he gets to Xiumin and saying, “Minkyung?”.

He then continues making up names for the guys. D.O is “Kyungho,” Lay is “Sangdoo,” and Baekhyun becomes “Joonkyung.” He remembers Kai’s name, but when he gets to Sehun, he says “Willis, you worked hard,” before running out of the room in embarrassment as everyone laughs.

After the show, so many people were laughing about “Willis” (“윌리스” in Korean) on Twitter that it was in third place for the top trending topics worldwide at 11:35 p.m. KST, and first place in Korea!

“Do Kyung Soo” and “Dancing King” were also trending in Korea at the time, with the former trending because Yoo Jae Suk kept addressing D.O by using his full real name.

[160917] EXO’s Suho Suggests A Super Power For “New Member” Yoo Jae Suk On “Infinite Challenge”

When Yoo Jae Suk recently joined EXO to perform with them on stage at a concert, he also was granted a super power as the new maknae of the group!

September 17’s episode of “Infinite Challenge” follows Yoo Jae Suk and EXO over a month as they prepare for their performance of “Dancing King” at EXO’s concert in Bangkok. At their first meeting before they begin rehearsing, EXO’s label mate Kyuhyun of Super Junior shows up as a special MC for their chat, or as he describes it, EXO’s “guardian.”

As the group is talking, Yoo Jae Suk points out one of the show’s producing directors, who is a huge fan of EXO. He has her introduce the group, and she impresses the guys by listing off all of their famous individual “super powers.”

Chanyeol says to Yoo Jae Suk, “If you become a member, you’ll need a super power too.”

Suho suggests that Yoo Jae Suk’s super power be “invisibility.” Yoo Jae Suk laughs and claps, and Kyuhyun says, “So that he won’t be seen on stage!”

Yoo Jae Suk asks Kyuhyun, “What if really I went up on stage and no one could seen me?” Kyuhyun replies with a laugh, “It’d be easier for these guys.”

[160917] EXO Can’t Stop Praising Yoo Jae Suk While Practicing “Dancing King”

Yoo Jae Suk becomes flustered by the shower of compliments he receives at the SM Entertainment headquarters.

On the September 17 episode of MBC’s “Infinite Challenge,” Yoo Jae Suk visits SM Entertainment to practice recording and dancing for their collaboration.

As he gets to work, he grows embarrassed when he is repeatedly commended and told, “Good job” and “You have talent.”

Even the members of EXO spare no praise while watching Yoo Jae Suk, who imperfectly but quickly learns the choreography. They constantly praise his progress, saying things like, “It’s offbeat, but you get it right away” and “You’re really good.”

Hearing all this, Yoo Jae Suk wonders, “Are you pranking me? Is this really good? I’m having trouble adjusting.”
