[161229] EXO’s Xiumin Is Too Cute And Chubby For Words In Newly Released Childhood Video

EXO’s Xiumin has revealed another video from his childhood that will make you want to pinch his cheeks!

In the video, the singer is dressed in traditional garb that looks like something a king would have worn in the past. While he barely looks old enough to walk properly, Xiumin adorably waddles the best he can, or “dances,” according to the title.

The video was released on December 28, after EXO-CBX’s “Hey Mama” music video reached 32.6 million views on YouTube. The seemingly random milestone actually corresponded with Xiumin’s birthday, which is on March 26.

The singer also previously posted another childhood video of himself dancing with a group earlier this year.

[161228] EXO Sets Record With Over 2.13 Million Albums Sold In 2016

EXO has sold over 2.13 million albums in 2016.

The group sold approximately 1.17 million copies of their third album “EX’ACT” and its repackaged album “LOTTO.” Their 2016 winter special album “For Life” has sold around 425,000 copies, while EXO-CBX’s first mini-album “Hey Mama!” sold 276,000 copies and Lay’s first solo album “LOSE CONTROL” sold 260,000 copies. This brings EXO’s total to 2.13 million albums, showing the group’s power in album sales.

EXO is already known as a “triple million seller” for selling over a million records of each of the group’s three studio albums. They have been winning awards at various end-of-the-year awards ceremonies since 2013, having won the “Album of the Year Award” at the Mnet Asia Music Awards for four consecutive years. With this new feat in album sales, EXO has proven yet again of their popularity and power in the K-pop industry.

EXO’s third concert tour “EXO PLANET #3 – The EXO’rDIUM” broke records for becoming the first to hold six straight performances at the Gymnastics Stadium for a single project in Seoul. They also held their 100th concert on December 11 at the Kyocera Dome in Japan.

The members of EXO have also been branching out musically, participating in collaborations like Baekhyun and Suzy‘s “Dream,” EXO and Yoo Jae Suk‘s “Dancing King” for MBC’s “Infinite Challenge,” and SM producer Yoo Young Jin and D.O.’s “Tell Me (What Is Love).” They’ve also been working on well-received OSTs, with Chen and Punch’s “Descendants of the Sun” OST “Everytime,” Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin’s “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo” OST “For You,” and Chanyeol and Punch’s “Goblin” OST “Stay With Me.”

Some of the members of EXO took on acting gigs this year, proving their acting chops through various productions. Do Kyung Soo (D.O.) worked on the movie “My Annoying Brother,” and the web drama “Be Positive,” while Lay participated in “To Be a Better Man” and “The Mystic Nine.”

With EXO successfully firing at all cylinders, it will be interesting to see what they have in store for us in 2017, both as a group and as individuals.

[161116] EXO-CBX Members Discuss Living Together And Their “One Of A Kind” Experience As EXO Members

The EXO-CBX members appeared as special guests on the November 15 broadcast of SBS PowerFM’s “Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time” to talk about their sub-unit debut.

The three members of EXO-CBX confirmed that they share a dorm together, to which Choi Hwa Jung asked whether they or not they fight as roommates. EXO-CBX gave a heartwarming response, saying, “We don’t even fight when all the members of EXO are together. We’re all respectful and considerate of each other.”

When Choi Hwa Jung asked how they became a sub-unit, the members explained, “We share a dorm together, and we also work out together quite often. We brought up the idea [of being a sub-unit] as a joke, but then it actually happened. There are also a lot of similarities in the genres we each want to pursue outside of the music EXO creates.”

EXO-CBX also spoke fondly of their experience as members of EXO as well as their fans, saying, “Because we’re promoting separately as a unit, it feels like we’re rookies again. We’re very glad that we’re a part of EXO. The experience is really one of a kind. Though we’re constantly busy because of our packed schedules, we’re happy because we’re having fun and doing what we love.”
