Transforming into an actor through the movie Salut D′Amour, EXO′s Chan Yeol said that acting is like living a new life.
On March 26, Chan Yeol attended the press screening for Salut D′Amour at the CGV Theaters in Wangsimni, where he shared his sentiments on working on the movie.
When asked about the charming points of acting, Chan Yeol replied, "To be able to experience something new." He added, "On the other hand, a singer can sympathize with fans on the stage."
"I cried when I read the scenario, but I cried 100 times more watching the movie," shared Chan Yeol after the movie screening was over. "It′s to the point I′m embarrassed to take photos."
Chan Yeol acts as Min Sung, a sweet and innocent high school student. His character is the boyfriend of Ah Young, the granddaughter of Geum Nim (Yoon Yeo Jung. He chases after Geun Nim and Sung Chil (Park Geun Young) and gives them dating tips.
Salut D′Amour is a warm love story between an old gentleman and a flower shop owner. With Kang Jae Gyu as the director, Salut D′Amour stars Park Geun Young, Yoon Yeo Jung, Cho Jin Woong, Han Ji Min, Hwang Woo Seung Hae, and more. It premieres April 9.
