EXO's D.O is currently considering appearing in Pure Love (translated).
On April 2, SM Entertainment told Newsen, "D.O received an offer to appear in the movie Pure Love and he is considering it." The agency added, "His appearance hasn't been confirmed yet."
"After looking over the scenario for Pure Love, we saw that the quality of the project is high and the offered role matches with D.O's image well, so he is considering it positively."
Pure Love takes place in Goheung of the Jeonnam province and is about five boys and girls. D.O received the role of a naive boy who likes a very sick girl. As the movie takes place in the Jellanam-do province, anticipation is rising to see if D.O will join the cast and act with a regional dialect.
D.O's acting has already been acknowledged through the drama It's Okay, It's Love and the film, Cart. People are watching to see if D.O will rise as a bigscreen acting-dol following ZE:A's Im Si Wan.
Pure Love will be produced by Jupiter Films. The movie will begin filming in June.
