Following EXO‘s Xiumin deleting his Instagram account yesterday, Lay has somewhat followed suit and deleted all of his photos on the picture sharing service.
As there have been rumors of Tao leaving the group, any drastic actions on social media is alarming to fans. Lay’s Weibo account, however, does still appear to be available.
There have been suspicions of Lay leaving the group since he is setting a workshop in China for activities in China, but had denied those rumors, saying “I did not terminate my contract in order to keep my promise to the EXO members.”
In another recent interview he was thankful for SM Entertainment letting him set up his own workshop and said “the past event [of Kris and Luhan leaving the team] must have made an impact on the agency. All of the choices and decisions I am making now will also impact the agency. I think this process and these challenges will become an experience that contributes to the change and development of the agency, myself, and everyone.”
