EXO members Xiumin, Suho and D.O. will star in four much-anticipated films this year.
D.O., whose real name is Do Kyung-soo, made a successful acting debut in 2014 through film “Cart” and drama “It’s Okay, That’s Love.” This year, he is starring in two flicks.
“Pure Love,” directed by Lee Eun-hee, is a story of friendship growing into first love between Beom-sil, played by Do, and Soo-ok, played by Kim So-hyun, against the backdrop of a rural seaside area.
His second project is drama flick “Older Brother,” with hallyu star Park Shin-hye and actor Jo Jung-suk.
Suho is making his film debut through the independent film “One Way Trip,” which was screened at the 20th Busan International Film Festival in October. Singer and actor Kim Dong-wan of Shinhwa and rising actors Ryu Jun-yeol and Ji-soo are among the other cast members.
Xiumin will star in periodic comedy flick “Kim Seon-dal,” joining the star-studded cast of Yoo Seung-ho, Jo Jae-hyun, Yeon Woo-jin, Ra Mi-ran and Go Chang-seok. The film is based on folk hero Kim Seon-dal, played by Yoo, who is known as the best swindler in Joseon. Xiumin plays Kim Seon-dal’s younger brother.
