K-pop superstar EXO successfully staged their two-night concert titled Exo Planet #2 - The Exo'luxion in Manila. The concert was held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena from January 23 to 24, 2016. '
EXO is currently composed of Sehun, Xiumin, Suho, Chanyeol, Baekhyun, Kai, D.O., Chen, and Lay.
This is the band's third visit in the country but also their first time to hold a major solo concert.
During their first visit, EXO performed at the 1st Dream K-Pop Fantasy Concert last 2013 at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. EXO-K, the Korean sub-unit of the band, went back to perform in September of the same year.
EXO opened the concert with a performance of their hit 2014 single "Overdose." It was followed by "History" from their debut EP album Mama released last 2012.
For their 3rd song, light sabers went up the stage as the group performed "El Dorado" from their 2nd full-length studio album titled EXODUS released in 2015.
The members went on to greet their Filipino fans. Kai apologized, in behalf of Xiumin, because they weren't able to dance with the rest of the members due to injury.
Kai told the concertgoers (as translated in English), "I know you guys have been waiting for us for a long time but Xiumin and I got injured."
Both Kai and Xium injured one of their legs and promised their Filipino fans to give them a better performance on their next concert.
After greeting their fans, the boy group continued their concert with ballad performances including "Don't Go" from their 2013 album titled XOXO and "Playboy" from their EXODUS album.

For the third segment of the concert, EXO performed some of their more upbeat songs such as "The Star" and "Exodus."
EXO also uleashed their "aegyo" (cute side) for their performances of "Peter Pan" and "XOXO." At one point, Chen (left) approached Kai (right) to sing with him. Suho and D.O. also went to Kai's side.
Baekhyun (far left), Sehun (2nd from left), and Chanyeol (far right) joined Xiumin (2nd from right) on the right side of the stage to sing with him. The group went on to perform "Lucky" and "3.6.5."
Pinoy EXO-Ls (fanclub name) also impressed EXO when they were asked to dance to their songs. The right side VIP area started dancing as EXO sang an a capella of "Call Me Baby." The left side VIP danced to "Growl." This prompted Baekhyun to coin the terms "Phi-XO" and "Li-XO" (Philippine EXO) for their Pinoy fans.
In one of the performance breaks, Chanyeol recalled the time he visited the Philippines nine years ago to study. This was before EXO was formed. Also, Chanyeol noted that he has been to Pagsanjan Falls and that they all love Philippine mangoes.
It's been a month since Christmas but EXO gave one special gift to their Filipino fans for the fourth segment of the concert. The members of the boy band brought the holiday feels back with their performances of "Christmas Day, "First Snow," and "Miracles in December."
For the 5th segment of the concert, EXO partied with their Filipino fans with performances of "Full Moon" and "Machine (Remix)."
Chanyeol served as the DJ and performed remixes of "Drop That," "Let Out the Beast," and "Run" while the rest of the members dance on stage.
Before ending the concert, each members said their goodbyes to their Filipino fans.
Chanyeol thanked the audience for their continued support and told them (as translated in English), "Please love us until the end."
He ended his message by telling their Filipino fans, "Mahal kita!"
D.O., on the other hand, told the audience (as translated in English), "I now realize that we are one." He continued, "Please eat a lot and dream of us when you get home. We'll also dream of you guys."
Chen also thanked their fans for sticking with them until the very end.
Chen promised that the group will be back for their Filipino fans next year before ending his speech with, "Thank you, Philippines!"
Like Kai, Xiumin also promised to give their Filipino fans a better performance on their next visit. Xiumin also expressed that he would love to have a concert in the Philippines every year. He finished his message saying, "Thank you! See you next time!"
Baekhyun said that it was a first time for him to see their fans dance the choreography of their songs during a concert. He then said (as translated in English), "Philippines is the best, really!"
Kai told the audience that "the concert was really great." Kai also expressed his gratitude towards the support of their fans. He said (as translated in English), "I'm really happy because I can feel that you guys are really one."
Kai also expressed his disappointment for not being able to dance for their Pinoy fans but he promised to be at their best in their next Philippine concert to repay the love of their fans. He ended his message with (translated in English), "I am really happy tonight!"
Sehun was the second to the last to give his message. He told the fans (as translated in English), "Because of you guys, I really want to visit Philippines again. You guys are really amazing. I really want to have the next concert as fast as possible. Please wait for our next concert."
He ended his message by saying, "Salamat po!"
Suho, the leader of the group, was the last to give his message. He thanked their fans once again for coming to the concert.
He continued and said "We received a big gift from you" while holding the banner project of their fans. He then translated what's written on the banner and said, "We always want to stay with you. Don't go!"
He proceeded, "We also want to stay here with you but we have to go back in Korea. But we'll be back soon!"
Suho continued (as translated in English), "Please wait for us for our next concert and we'll do out best for you guys here in the Philippines."
He ended his message with, "Mahal kita! Mahal kita, Philippines!"
In the last part of the concert, Pinoy EXO-L witnessed their idols perform their popular tracks including "Call Me Baby" and "Growl." EXO ended their performance with their latest single "Love Me Right."
The group is set to release a new song towards the latter part of January 2016.
For their encore performance, the group sang "Sing For You" and "Unfair."
