[160304] EXO Suho promotes S.M.’s new F&B venue

South Korean entertainment giant S.M. Entertainment recently launched a new food and beverage venue, SMT Seoul, as part of attempts to diversify its business.

The agency said SMT Seoul mainly serves Spanish tapas as well as Korean and fusion dishes called “Seoul Style Tapas.” It is not just a restaurant, but a multi-cultural space for fans of the agency’s artistes.

The company plans to expand its food business into Japan and North America with SMT Tokyo and SMT LA, respectively.

Suho, from S.M.’s hit boy group EXO, has visited the restaurant, which opened on Jan. 21.

As part of promotion for the new movie “Glory Day,” which Suho stars in, Ceci Magazine carried out an interview and photoshoot with the singer-actor in the restaurant, which is in Cheongdam-dong, a high-end area in Seoul.

EXO Suho’s interview, in which he talks about his new movie, as well as details on SMT Seoul, will be featured in Ceci Magazine’s April issue.
