On the morning of June 8 KST, EXO held a press conference at the SMTOWN Coex Atrium for their upcoming third studio album “EX’ACT.”
At the press conference, the members talked about their double title tracks, “Monster” and “Lucky One.”
“The song ‘Monster’ is exactly what it sounds like,” leader Suho explained. “It has a grand sound, a dark atmosphere, but fresh vocals. The performance is also intense.”
Kai added, “You won’t be able to take your eyes off us for a second during ‘Monster.’”
D.O. said, “‘Lucky One’ is a bright song that’s different from ‘Monster.’ It’s a R&B/funk song that you can listen to at home or in your car.”
Chanyeol concluded, “We didn’t have a lot of time to prepare comfortably, but we worked extra hard and I’m confident that the album and performance is perfect.”
The album will drop on June 9 at midnight KST, marking the boy group’s first comeback in six months since their winter special album “Sing For You.”
The group is also scheduled to perform on Mnet’s “M Countdown” on June 9, followed by “Music Bank” on June 10, “Music Core” on June 11, and “Inkigayo” on June 12.
