EXO′s 3rd studio album EX′ACT′s title track Monster has been named one of the best songs of 2016.
EXO proved their global popularity by becoming the only Asian artist to be named in Fuse TV′s 20 Best Songs of 2016 with title track Monster of their 3rd studio album EX′ACT.
Fuse TV wrote, "The K-pop phenoms proved why they′re still at the top of the game with this pristine pop smash. While the dark, hip-hop sound pulls the listener in initially, it′s that undeniable chorus that layers the ninesome′s boy-band harmonies, staccato-notes and ad-libs for another level of pop perfection."
EXO′s Monster, which was released in June of this year, reached number 1 on a variety of music, album and music video charts as soon as the song was released. The track also reached number 1 on Billboard′s Digital Song Chart and reached number 1 on Billboard′s most viewed k-pop video for the month of June.
Additionally, Beyonce′s Formation, Rihanna′s Needed Me, Bruno Mars′s 24K Magic, Lady Gaga′s Million Reasons and more global songs were also named in Fuse TV′s 20 Best Songs of 2016.
