On February 25, The Big Dome resounded with the foot stomping of excited EXO fans and the resounding chant of “Careless, careless, shoot anonymous” from the South Korean-Chinese boy group’s opening song “MAMA”.
Members Xiumin, Suho, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O. Kai, Sehun greeted their fans (officially called EXO-L) with an explosive performance sans Chinese member Lay. It was just the start of two days worth of loud cheers and silver oceans from the bright light sticks that the crowd held in their hands.
If you’re still suffering from post-concert depression or unfortunately missed out on the two-day spectacle, here are some moments from the show that put the “Love” in EXO-L or EXO-LOVE.

During the group’s performance of “Heaven” on the first day of the show, fans raised banners that read “Our Love is Unstoppable”. Group leader Suho was quick to notice it and recalled last year’s fan project where Filipino fans in attendance held “We promise forever” signs in their hands.

“Hawak Kamay”
After heart-pumping performances of their hits “Monster”, “White Noise”, “Playboy”, and “Artificial Love”, the group transitioned to sweet songs like “Unfair” and proceeded with an acoustic session. Included in the acoustic lineup are unplugged versions of their songs “Call Me Baby”, “My Lady”, and “Lady Luck”, as well as the Filipino song “Hawak Kamay”.
EXO first included Yeng Constantino‘s hit in their performances back in 2013 during the Dream Kpop Fantasy Concert and it has since become a staple in their visits to the country, including EXO’rDIUM. The group sang it twice on the first day of the show and went on to accompany it with the acoustic guitar on the second.

While the members danced their hearts out to “One and Only” on Day 2 of the show, another banner was raised and this time it read “Iniirog kita, bes” (We love you, friend) in the ancient Filipino script Baybayin.

Suho reached out for a banner and the boys later reciprocated the message by reciting the confession of love back to the very much delighted audience.

Lechong Manok and Jollibee
After a series of charismatic performances with the songs “Overdose”, “Transformer”, and “Lightsaber”, vocalist D.O. shared that he was able to try the Filipino dish lechong manok (roasted chicken) and loved it.

At the mention of chicken, Filipino fans began chanting “Jollibee” and led to the members having a discussion of the local food chain’s hamburger and chicken. Vocalist Chen rooted for hamburger while main dancer and chicken lover Kai chanted “chicken” repeatedly until it was time for the performances “Do It”, “Drop That”, and “Run”.
“We are one! EXO saranghaja!”

The group wrapped up EXO’rDIUM in Manila by assuring the fans that they will definitely come back for another show in the future. EXO delivered their heartfelt slogan “We are one! EXO saranghaja! (EXO let’s love!)”– which is how they always end their concerts– with their EXO-Ls, who will surely keep these two nights of unstoppable love in their memories.
