EXO′s upcoming album The War is showing huge success even before its official release.
EXO′s 4th studio album The War, which is releasing on July 19, sold an astonishing 807,235 copies in presales.
EXO has taken over the charts with their new album and title track!
The group’s album “The War” was released on July 18 at 6 p.m. KST, and the title song “Ko Ko Bop” took over the No. 1 spot on five major realtime music charts immediately after, including Melon, Genie, Olleh, Bugs, and Naver.
On Melon, seven of the group’s new songs placed within the top 10 tracks. Additionally, spots No. 1 through No. 9 were taken by EXO’s new songs on Genie.
As of 10:30 p.m. KST on July 18, “Ko Ko Bop” is No. 1 on the realtime charts of Melon, Genie, Bugs, Naver, Olleh, and Soribada, and No. 6 on Mnet.
Along with the chart sweeping, the music video for “Ko Ko Bop” achieved 500,000 views within one hour of release and is rapidly climbing in the number of views.
