[150418] Still cuts of EXO’s Chanyeol revealed for the last episode of “Dating Alone”

JTBC‘s variety show Dating Alone has released behind-the-scene still cuts of EXO‘s Chanyeol.

Just recently, Dating Alone revealed B-cut photos of Chanyeol in action as a virtual boyfriend. In the multiple photos, Chanyeol gives off a fresh charm at different locations, such as, in a bar, restaurant, and more. In particular, his big eyes, high nose, smooth skin, and casual outfit have accentuated girls’ ideal boyfriend look.

Previously, past guests, such as Lady Jane commented, “He has the feeling of every girls’ first love. It’s easier to concentrate because he is so good-lookng,” as well as, MC Sung Si Kyung mentioned, “He is not only good-looking, but actually pretty-looking.”

Meanwhile, the romance reality show Dating Alone has come to an end after three months of airing. It has broadcasted its last episode of the show with Chanyeol’s actual dating scene as a campus couple on April 17th.

[150418] EXO’s Chanyeol Receives Praise for How He Deals with His Ex on “Dating Alone”

Both the female guests and the male MC panel of virtual dating show “Dating Alone” couldn’t hold back their praise for EXO Chanyeol’s way of dealing with his ex-girlfriend in front of his current girlfriend.

On the April 18 broadcast of JTBC’s “Dating Alone,” Chanyeol and his virtual girl begin dating after making their relationship official.

It is all well and good until Chanyeol’s ex-girlfriend, played by Dal Shabet’s Woohee, suddenly appears and tries to get back with Chanyeol.

Chanyeol’s current girlfriend confronts Woohee and tells her to back off. When Chanyeol arrives at the scene, Woohee asks him, “She says she’s yours?”

Chanyeol shocks the studio initially with his response, “No,” but the shock turns into squeals as he finishes, “I am hers.”

Jeon Hyun Moo remarks, “This is a script that even writer Kim Soo Hyun couldn’t write. I must memorize this for myself.”

Kim Min Jong chimes in, “Even to a guy [Chanyeol] is so muh shi suh (charming, cool).”

[150412] EXO’s Chanyeol Makes Female Panel Squeal with His Skinship on “Dating Alone”

EXO’s Chanyeol recently made the female panelists of virtual dating program “Dating Alone” squeal with his skinship on the latest episode.

On the April 11 broadcast of JTBC’s “Dating Alone,” singer Lady Jane, model Han Hye Jin, comedienne Jang Do Yeon, and singer-actress Dohee joined the guest panel and went on a virtual date with Chanyeol.

During the third storyline, the female panelists were asked to choose how they would respond to a situation in which a female friend is pretending to act drunk in order to make her move on Chanyeol.

Jang Do Yeon chose the option that stated, “Pass her on to another male sunbae, asking him to take care of her because she is very drunk.” In the response video to this option, Chanyeol could be seen patting the girl’s head and saying, “You’re nice,” which caused all of the female guests to squeal with excitement.

Sung Si Kyung couldn’t hold back his admiration of EXO Chanyeol’s looks.

On the April 11 broadcast of JTBC’s virtual reality dating show “Dating Alone,” the female guests begin their virtual relationship with sunbae oppa Chanyeol.

In one of the scenarios, the female guests go to a club office in order to get Chanyeol’s number. Chanyeol, who is laying down on a sofa in the office, suddenly gets up and invites the female guests to join his club.

Watching this, Sung Si Kyung comments, “Chanyeol’s looks are too conspicuous. His looks are so unrealistic that he doesn’t blend into his surroundings. The other guests should get their hair dyed [like Chanyeol].”

Jeon Hyun Moo insists that won’t change anything, “If they do, [the guests] will just look uglier.”

[150410] “Dating Alone” Producer Comments on Chanyeol’s Appearance on the Show

Ahead of the “Dating Alone” episode featuring EXO member Chanyeol, the show’s producer recently stirred up viewers’ anticipation by hinting at what viewers will be able to expect from the upcoming broadcast.

On the next episode of JTBC’s virtual dating program “Dating Alone,” Chanyeol will be starring as the main virtual boyfriend.

On April 10, producer Sung Chi Kyung told TV Report, “Chanyeol will be following Seo Kang Joon as the next boyfriend [on the show]. This episode will be a story related to a first love in college. It will become the future hopes for young viewers as well as an opportunity to remember past memories for adult viewers.”

The producer continued, “I believe [viewers] will be able to experience different charms compared to Seo Kang Joon’s broadcast. The first was a workplace story and the second is a college story. Viewers will think ‘I hope there will be a kid like that in college’ as they watch. [Chanyeol] is very pretty/good looking. Even as a man, I smiled when I saw him.”

Meanwhile, Chanyeol’s special of “Dating Alone” will air on April 11 at 11 p.m. (KST).

In absolute awe of his face, Lady Jane commented on EXO Chan Yeol's good looks.

An SM Entertainment representative shared with TV Report, “He is having fun throughout filming. The dynamics [on set] are really good and harmonious, so Chanyeol has been able to film comfortably.”

“Dating Alone” airs every Saturday at 11 p.m., KST. Chanyeol’s portion is slated to air starting April 11.

Chanyeol will be the second male celebrity to be featured on the program following actor Seo Kang Jun.

An affiliate of JTBC told Newsen on March 25, “EXO’s Chan Yeol will be appearing as the virtual lover on the second Male Special of Dating Alone.”

Following Seo Kang Jun, Chan Yeol will appear as the ‘charming lover that anyone would want to date,’ making the MCs and the guests’ hearts flutter.

Dating Alone is a program that discusses the psychology of women by having virtual reality dates with the women in the VCR, featuring Kim Min Jong, Jeon Hyun Moo, Sung Si Kyung, Jang Dong Min and Cross Gene’s Shin.

It has been revealed that EXO member Chanyeol will be participating in a ‘male special’ of JTBC’s virtual dating program “Dating Alone.”

On March 25, a representative of JTBC told Newsen, “Chanyeol of EXO will be appearing on ‘Dating Alone’ as the main virtual date for the second ‘male special.’”

The rep also explained, “He is planning to film the VCR. He was cast because he has the feeling of a university student in his early twenties.”

While previous virtual date participants on the show have been mostly female stars, Chanyeol is said to be the second male virtual date on the show following 5urprise’s Seo Kang Joon.

Meanwhile, the broadcast of “Dating Alone” featuring Seo Kang Joon is scheduled to air on March 28.
